What Pastors are Saying
Pastors across North America agree: CSB programs help boys and young men grow in their faith and become men of God. Probably the most common report we hear from pastors about the ministry is its ability to develop leaders who are capable, humble, and service-oriented. The emphasis on building authentic relationships results in God’s truth becoming real and vibrant to the boys, as well as meaningful relationships that become a solid support for both the boys and the leaders. These relationships also produce a consistent connection to the church itself.
As a church we count it a blessing and privilege that God has built a thriving ministry to boys and men in our community through Christian Service Brigade. The clear fundamentals and objectives of CSB are consistent throughout the quality resources provided, and support the vision and mission of our church. Highlights of the ministry include: being able to interact with and influence the lives of boys toward Christ; giving teen helpers the opportunity to develop leadership skills, and allowing men to serve as mentors and role models.

One of the most important values and practices in my ministry has been mentoring young men in their faith journey. This emphasis developed from my participation in CSB both as a young man in the Battalion program and then as a leader.
