Special Events

CSB organizes numerous special events in all regions across Canada which provide an opportunity for fun, camaraderie, competition, discovering nature, developing new skills, training, special speakers and more. Below are some of the events we would love for you to join us at. For more information on any of these or other events in your area, feel free to use our online request form or check out our online calendars.

Tough Guys Weekends

This is a weekend to remember! Activities include camping, games, orienteering, obstacle courses, fire-building competitions, hiking, swimming, canoeing...you name it. There is also a campfire time each evening with a special speaker to challenge the guys to become real men: men who know and love God and follow Him in all areas of their lives. This event is open to boys, teen guys, older guys, dads, grandpas (basically you need to be a guy!).

Father/Son Team Day

The Father/Son Team Day is a one-day event where boys and their dads compete in various events with other father/son teams.

Can you think of any more important thing you can do but spend a day with your son? Across North America CSB Ministries has organized events for you to do just that. A full day’s fun and excitement for 1st thru 12th grade boys and their dads (or substitute dads!). Events can include camping, games, archery, riflery, canoeing, orienteering, fire-building competitions, and loads of other activities geared to boys and their dads. Fathers/sons do not need to be part of a CSB group or church.

Shape N Race

A wild day of racing hand-built cars. This event has become so popular we’ve given it its own page on our web site...you can check out the details here. Note that many Shape N Race events are open to moms/daughters/siblings as well.

Alumni Events

We’re organizing special events across Canada for men who were involved with CSB as a boy or leader. Check out our Alumni page for more information.

Brigademen’s Conference

An excellent time of networking with other CSB leaders and supporters, leadership training, and challenge from God’s Word. A Brigademen’s Conference (sometimes called a BMC) is often organized as a weekend retreat. Participants tell us the event is an incredible encouragement and produces fresh energy, ideas, and passion for ministry. Check our calendar for upcoming BMC’s.

Other Events

From time to time we will organize special events that don’t fall into the above categories. These include men’s breakfasts, area gatherings, sports events, kick-off events, and special meetings with area or national leadership.
